At Riverview Learning Center, every student is recognized and treated as an individual.

The K through 8 PARADE Program was created for families who want to home educate their children while working in partnership with the Riverview School District.

Families receive flexibility, access to engaging academic and enrichment opportunities, and the support of a welcoming school community.

Discover the PARADE Program

Parents and Riverview Actively Delivering Education

PARADE supports families who want to home educate their children in collaboration with the school district.

Parents serve as the primary educators and provide a minimum of 28 hours of instruction each week. Kindergarten students are required to attend at least two half days per week at Riverview Learning Center.

What Students Experience

  • Challenging academic classes
  • Art, drama, computers, textiles, robotics, and other enrichment courses
  • Hands on and discussion based learning
  • Field trips connected to class themes at least three times each year
  • A supportive network for students and families

PARADE places a strong emphasis on developing passionate lifelong learners, caring and respectful citizens, and meaningful connections among participating families.
